Standardized therapeutic methods and sophisticated equipments have enhanced the department to strengthen its activities towards patients management. The new Interferential therapy and short-wave therapy caters for management of joint and muscle pain . Fabrication of various splints for correction and prevention of deformities, graded muscle re-education exercises are of paramount importance in the management of reconstructed hands and feet among patients. The department also actively participates in various training programmes for health professionals and research activities in prevention of impairments .
