Department’s education tip for leprosy

 

- Self assessment of vision, eyelid closure, pain, photophobia, eye pain, redness

- Use lots of lubricants in the form of eye drops, gel or ointment

- Self lid exercise to strengthen eyelid muscles

- Get regular checkup for uveitis, glaucoma, cataract, exposure keratopathy (all of which 

   are sight threatening conditions)
