Department of Orthopaedics
Orthopaedics has been a part of leprosy Reconstructive surgery over the past five decaded.
Since 1999, this speciality is further developed to deal with fractures/Dislocations and general orthopaedics.It specilises in orthopaedic problems due to neurological involvement, such as polio, cerebral palsy, nerve injuries.
It also is a “centre of excellence “ for Diabetic Footcare recognized by the world of Diabetic foundation.
The Department has facilities such as Arthroscopy and the image intensifier to provide quality care.
The Department runs a Post graduate course DNB in Orthopaedic in collaboration with CMC, Vellore
