Research & Training Centre, formerly known as SLRTC Karigiri,
has now been in existence for 50 years. It was started as a
facility exclusively for patients suffering from the dreaded
scourge of leprosy. Today it is 150 bedded General Hospital,
offering general medical care, but with a focus on leprosy. |
